Reading log #2

I'm in chapter 5 and from what Ive read six years have passed and Cornell is signed on to the Chicago Grizzlies and his teams summer training campsite takes place in Tracey's hometown, Springfield. Cornell and his friend decide to have lunch at a soul food restaurant that happens to be owned by Tracy's family. When Tracey finds out that Cornell is at her restaurant she panics because she didn't want to see Cornell again and also she didn't want him to find out that she had actually had the twins.

I'm reading a book by Beverly Clark called "A love to cherish." and it's about a girl named Tracey and a guy named Cornell who met while they were in college. Cornell wanted to major in football and was really dedicated to it but when Tracey told him that she was pregnant he didn't want anything to get in the way of his future plans so he told Tracey to get an abortion. Tracey refused and broke up with Cornell. Tracey had stopped going to school for awhile so Cornell thought that she had gotten the abortion but Tracey had actually switched schools and moved back to her hometown so she wouldn't have anything to do with Cornell.
